Keeping your mouth healthy involves following the basic rules of dental hygiene and basic care. You must brush your teeth 2 times per day, ideally after every meal. For at least once per day, floss every tooth and avoid smoking or chewing tobacco.
Consuming acidic beverages and food is fine, but monitor and limit the amount you eat. There are also inexpensive oral rinses you can buy that strengthen tooth enamel. If you grind your teeth at night or play sports, wear a mouth guard.
